GICLEE FINE ART

Our Giclees are made using the latest Epson professional inkjets and our papers are hand-picked from professional ranges to give maximum choice and quality to the final print.

Papers used are the following:

Hahnemuhle Photorag 308g.s.m. this is a heavy art paper, with a fibrous finish. The paper softens the image and mutes the colours giving a watercolour feel to the final image.

Hahnemuhle Pearl A slightly textured 285g.s.m. semi-gloss paper. Holds more detail with punchier colours than the Photorag, whilst maintaining the
illustrative/ painted feel.

Hahnemuhle German Etching 310g.s.m. This heavyweight etching board is silky smooth with a fine surface texture. It is one of the most popular media worldwide for artwork & photography

Epson Semi-Gloss A semi-glossy 260 g.s.m. Epson paper giving a photographic feel with a medium gloss finish, good detail and natural colour

Harman Gloss Warmtone 320g.s.m. A fibre based paper which gives creamy whites & velvety black, with an Alumina coating ensuring a high degree of glossiness, optical image density and vibrancy.

Canson Baryta 310 g.s.m This Baryta paper consists of an alpha-cellulose, acid-free pure white museum grade paper, offering maximum longevity.

Canson Aquarelle Rag 310 g.s.m This 100% cotton fine art & photo paper is museum grade, with beautifully warm off white tones and extreme texture.

PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS

These are the ultimate professional archival prints; silver based C-types which are real photographic prints, created on light sensitive professional photographic paper using a finely balanced red, green & blue light source. They can be printed onto 4 types of paper:

Fuji Gloss Professional colour paper from the Fuji Crystal Archive range with a gloss finish, which accentuates the colour to give a punchy, rich feel.

Fuji Matt Crystal Archive paper with a semi-matt finish. The paper is coated with a slightly stippled finish and gives a very natural photographic finish with subtle colour.

Fuji Flex also called super-gloss, has a plastic feel to the paper with a warm base colour and an ultra high gloss finish, giving luxurious rich colours.

Kodak Metallic which has a rich metallic base. The colours have a reflective, metallic and 3-dimensional feel to them.
