An early morning eagle soaring ever higher, an otter fishing near to the shoreline where I am sat watching, an inquisitive stoat popping its head up to look at me then racing off to stop and look at me again, butterflies on a warm summer day,the silent ghostly shape of a barn owl hovering over a field at dusk – these are some of the highlights of my wildlife year.
I am happiest when at one with nature – observation is sometimes as enjoyable and as good as taking photos – it fulfills two purposes by giving me an insight into the behaviour of an animal and also some wonderful memories to take home. I hope that you will enjoy looking at my photos as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
